We're looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed HR & Payroll Coordinator to join our team and support day-to-day operations across multiple client accounts. This is a high-trust position involving sensitive employee data, payroll processing, and compliance support. Discretion, confidentiality, and precision are key to success in this role. What You’ll Do

Client HR Support (Day-to-Day Tasks)

  • Support onboarding and offboarding for client employees and contractors

  • Process I-9s and ensure compliance with E-Verify and state-specific requirements

  • Set up new state and federal tax registrations for growing businesses

  • Coordinate recruitment activities: sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and tracking pipelines

  • Manage deadlines for employee documentation, tax filings, audits, and other compliance requirements

  • Assist with payroll processing and employee record maintenance

Administrative & Project Support

  • Track and manage internal and client-facing deadlines

  • Provide project and task coordination support

  • Support high-priority initiatives across multiple clients

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, operations, or administrative support

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Finance, or related field

  • Strong ability to multi-task and stay organized across multiple projects

  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially in compliance and documentation

  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in startup or fast-paced environments

  • A self-starter who can work independently and communicate effectively

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion

  • Operates well in a high-trust environment, especially when dealing with payroll, HR compliance, and client communications

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Gusto, BambooHR, Rippling, etc.)

  • SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP certification

  • Understanding of U.S. employment law and state tax processes

  • Exposure to global employment laws or international HR compliance

  • Strong interest in startups and working with a global, distributed workforce

  • Experience supporting payroll, audits, or multi-state and/or global HR operations

  • You're known for staying organized with project management tools like Trello or Notion

  • Used at least 4 of these? You’re our kind of tech-savvy: Lucidchart, MidJourney, Claude.ai, Miro, Canva, or Figma
